Citability
What is citability.org?
Citability supports making public government documents and data available online and citable such that they can be easily referenced for public debate, commentary and analysis. This requires that archived versions of documents be stored and linkable so that changes can be easily spotted and reference links remain intact.
We will make the implementation of citability free and easy for government employees by providing modifications to free open source software, new free software, and extensions to existing proprietary systems. More detail about our how we plan to accomplish these goals are available on the citability wiki.

Help us create the next generation of citability tools!
Join us April 9-11 either in Washington DC or remotely for the upcoming DC Codeathon. We will gather together to exchange ideas and work together to build fantastic software with real world impact!
At the conclusion of the event, we will have the opportunity to showcase the new tools directly to government groups who are excited about being able to use them. What we build could have an immediate impact on the availability and accessibility of government information, leading directly to greater transparency.
